Job Summary
You will design, deploy, and support cloud-native applications and infrastructure on AWS, applying DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable solutions in regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Apply strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, TDD, and DevSecOps practices to develop and maintain secure software delivery pipelines
- Design, deploy, and support cloud-native applications and infrastructure on AWS to meet performance and scalability goals
- Write and maintain code in at least two programming/scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Javascript, or Java) to automate tasks and enhance system functionality
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools to automate provisioning and configuration management
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of applications
- Utilize source code management and GitLab workflows to maintain code quality and streamline CI/CD processes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to proactively detect and resolve system issues
- Apply knowledge of application security, cloud security, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps principles to safeguard systems
- Conduct vulnerability management, security assessments, system hardening, and remediation activities to maintain compliance and security posture
- Collaborate effectively within regulated or government environments to meet compliance and operational requirements
