Production Manager (Electronic Manufacturing)

About the Role:
Our client are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee production operations and lead the team in achieving production, quality, efficiency and delivery targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production meetings covering output, production plans, materials, quality and corrective actions.
- Monitor key production KPIs including WIP, output, quality, capacity, manpower and material status.
- Manage production resources, manpower and staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
- Set and monitor production and quality targets to ensure performance objectives are achieved.
- Lead, motivate and develop production teams while maintaining a positive and disciplined work environment.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance staff skills, certifications and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9000/14000, safety and workplace requirements.
- Work closely with Engineering, Materials, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, flexibility and processes.
- Oversee equipment and tooling requirements, including maintenance, calibration and certification.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a server, rack or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DMAIC methodology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong leadership, ownership and initiative with good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive team player with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
