The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is recruiting, on behalf of one of its clients, a Senior Financial Consolidation & Reporting Consultant .
Our client is an independent consulting firm specializing in Finance Transformation, helping multinational organizations optimize their Finance functions through Corporate Performance Management (CPM), Financial Consolidation, Reporting and Process Optimization.
With an established international presence, the firm supports multinational organizations in delivering Finance Transformation projects and implementing best-in-class Finance solutions across Asia-Pacific.
To support its regional growth, the company is looking for an experienced consultant to join its Singapore team.
You will support multinational organizations in their financial consolidation, statutory reporting and Finance Transformation initiatives across APAC.
Working closely with Group Finance teams, Consolidation Managers and CFO organizations, you will optimize closing and reporting processes, advise clients on consolidation best practices and contribute to Finance Transformation projects.
This role combines strong functional expertise with consulting responsibilities and regional project exposure. You will also receive structured training on CCH Tagetik and progressively develop into the company's regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Consolidation & Reporting
Support monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation cycles
Review reporting packages and ensure data quality
Analyze consolidation adjustments, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and IFRS reporting
Contribute to cash flow statements, equity reporting and financial disclosures
Improve closing processes, governance and reporting quality
- Finance Advisory & Transformation
Assess and optimize consolidation, closing and reporting processes
Facilitate workshops with Finance, Accounting and Controlling teams
Define target operating models and recommend best practices
Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications
Support Finance Transformation and system implementation projects
Participate in testing, UAT, deployment and change management
Coordinate business stakeholders and technical teams throughout project delivery
- CCH Tagetik Training & Development
Receive structured training and certification on CCH Tagetik
Participate in CCH Tagetik implementation and enhancement projects across APAC
Contribute to solution design, testing, training and go-live activities
Progressively develop into the company's regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Financial Consolidation, Reporting and CCH Tagetik
Requirements
- 5–12 years' experience in Financial Consolidation, Group Reporting, Corporate Accounting or Finance Transformation.
- Experience gained within multinational companies, Shared Service Centers, consulting firms or Big Four advisory practices, in roles such as Consolidation Analyst, Group Reporting Specialist, Consolidation Manager, Finance Transformation Consultant or CPM/EPM Consultant.
- Hands-on experience delivering Finance Transformation, consolidation or reporting projects, including business process improvement, system implementation, functional design, testing (UAT), change management and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, group reporting, IFRS reporting and financial close processes.
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements, managing intercompany reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, cash flow statements and equity reporting.
- Experience with Financial Consolidation / CPM / EPM solutions such as CCH Tagetik, Oracle HFM/FCCS, OneStream, SAP Group Reporting, SAP BFC, Magnitude, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, client-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
- Fluent English; additional Asian language(s) are an advantage.
