Job Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods, materials, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
- Study and analyze product consumption and market development to forecast demand.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders promptly to ensure supply availability.
- Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Inspect purchased products upon delivery and report any issues promptly.
- Verify documents for compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures, and government regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth processes related to products.
- Track product sales and provide guidelines and support to sales teams to boost sales.
- Provide cost analysis for new and existing products and review cost reduction activities.
- Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring effective communications.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration or similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing.
- Proficient in building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical acumen with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of performing well under pressure and able to handle emergency and stressful situations effectively.
Working Hours: 8am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Work Location: 5 Jalan Tepong, Singapore 619325 (Company transport provided from Lakeside MRT station)
