PROJECT MANAGER
BLKJ Havas is looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive the seamless delivery of creative and integrated communications work across the agency. Sitting at the heart of our delivery function, this role partners closely with account management, strategy, creative teams, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards.
This role requires strong end-to-end ownership, commercial discipline, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced creative agency environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Governance
• Independently manage end-to-end delivery of creative and integrated communications projects, covering scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risks, dependencies, and resourcing.
• Manage creative resourcing, the process of projects being put through the creative department, from brief to delivery while managing deadlines across all teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure smooth execution against agreed objectives and deliverables.
• Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating timeline or scope impacts where required.
• Ensure work is delivered in line with client expectations, agency standards, and creative excellence.
• Experienced in sourcing and managing freelancers.
Commercial & Financial Management
• Manage client contracts, purchase orders, vendor onboarding, vendor POs, and billing processes.
• Maintain strong fiscal discipline while enabling effective use of creative and production resources.
Creative & Integrated Campaign Management
• Oversee the delivery of integrated creative campaigns across brand, digital, content, social, experiential, and production touchpoints.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of creative and production processes, with the ability to assess work quality and provide constructive feedback to creative teams and external partners.
• Ensure campaign deliverables align with agreed objectives, timelines, and creative intent.
Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration
• Partner closely with Account Directors/Managers, strategists, creatives, and producers to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels, including senior management, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of creative, production, research, and other external partners, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Lead regular project status updates, reporting, and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to improve processes, delivery, and collaboration.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of project management tools, standards, and ways of working within the agency.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a creative or integrated advertising agency environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and complex timelines.
• Proven experience managing budgets, costings, procurement, invoicing, and financial controls.
• Prior experience working with public sector or government clients is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior clients and internal leadership.
• High attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and a consistent follow-through mindset.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
