Manufacturing Senior Technician/ Technician

AstraZeneca is recruiting manufacturing technicians for its new biologics campus in Singapore, a USD 1.5 billion facility producing antibody-drug conjugates and related products. The role involves executing manufacturing operations, maintaining equipment readiness, supporting quality investigations, and contributing to continuous improvement in a regulated, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing activities per approved batch records, SOPs, cGMP, and safety requirements; identify and report deviations and quality risks
- Verify equipment calibration, materials, utilities, and documentation; perform transfers, sampling, and changeover; maintain accurate manufacturing records
- Support shift coordination, work allocation, and handovers; develop skills in digital tools and drive adoption
- Identify discrepancies, participate in investigations and root-cause analysis, support CAPAs and change controls
- Troubleshoot issues, apply continuous improvement tools, and support equipment qualification and validation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification; or high school/technical/associate/vocational diploma with equivalent experience
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and delivery in regulated manufacturing
- Strong safety-first mindset with operator and equipment safety awareness
- Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail
- Pharma or biopharma GMP manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Equipment troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills in GMP settings (desirable)
- Experience with ADC, aseptic, or high-potency manufacturing environments (desirable)
