Our esteemed client in the Chemical industry is seeking a Sales Executive (India Market) to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Sales Executive – India Market
- Location: Central
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Performance Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base in India.
- Conduct regular customer visits across cities and regional areas to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Introduce products, provide samples and coordinate product trials with prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and business partners.
- Follow up on product trials, customer feedback, quotations and potential orders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and customer requirements.
- Prepare regular sales, customer visit and market reports for management.
- Work closely with internal teams on product requirements, customer feedback and business development activities.
- Manage customer visits and travel schedules independently.
Job Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Biology, Food Science, Physics or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in B2B sales, business development or technical sales will be an advantage. Training will be provided to inexperienced candidates.
- Proficiency in Hindi to liaise with manufacturers, intermediaries and counterparts in India.
- Willing and able to be based in India for most of the year, with periodic travel to Singapore for meetings, training and business reviews.
- Comfortable working within the tobacco-related products industry.
