Job Summary
Provide Level 2 production support for business applications, ensuring operational stability through monitoring, troubleshooting, automation scripting, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 production support for business applications and batch jobs to ensure continuous operation
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot incidents to meet SLA compliance
- Maintain and support Java/J2EE applications running on Linux/Unix platforms
- Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency
- Execute SQL queries and analyze system logs to diagnose and resolve issues promptly
- Support application deployments, job scheduling, and system monitoring activities
- Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues effectively
- Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE applications
- Familiarity with web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, and SQL
- Experience with job scheduling, MQ setup, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Exposure to the banking industry is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement
