Quality Engineer – Precision Engineering
Location: West Singapore
Salary: Basic salary up to $4500
Working hours: 5 days
Job Responsibilities
- Manage QMS and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal/customer audits and maintain quality documentation.
- Handle incoming, in-process and final inspections, including FAI and PPAP.
- Investigate quality issues and lead RCA, 8D and corrective actions.
- Work with Production, Tooling and Engineering teams to resolve stamping defects.
- Support quality improvement activities such as SPC, CPK and MSA.
- Handle customer complaints and monitor supplier quality.
- Prepare quality reports and analyse defect trends.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years' experience in QA/QC, preferably in precision stamping, metal fabrication or automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and GD&T.
- Experience with measurement equipment such as CMM, micrometer and height gauge.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- IATF Internal Auditor / Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
