Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for customer orders, new projects, and product opportunities.
- Review technical drawings, engineering documents, and product requirements to understand costing needs.
- Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to assess material requirements, production processes, and build feasibility.
- Apply pricing models, costing standards, and internal guidelines to develop competitive and accurate quotes.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and other departments to gather cost inputs and support pricing decisions.
- Analyse multi-level Bills of Materials (BOM) to determine material, labour, and manufacturing cost impact.
- Maintain communication with customers and internal stakeholders on quotation matters and program-related updates.
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes while managing quote timelines independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quotation, cost estimation, pricing, or related manufacturing support roles.
- Experience working with multi-level BOMs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation, preferably in semiconductor or precision manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and VBA.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems such as Oracle, Agile, or similar platforms, with good communication skills and ability to work independently.
