Pharmacy Technician
Join our healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician , where you'll support safe and efficient medication dispensing, provide excellent patient care, and ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack and dispense medications in accordance with guidelines
- Counsel patients on medication use following Good Dispensing Guidelines
- Monitor drug interactions and escalate issues to pharmacists as needed
- Manage inventory, check expiry dates, and replenish pharmacy supplies
- Operate and monitor pharmacy IT/automation systems
- Maintain cleanliness and equipment in the pharmacy
- Coach and orient new team members
- Ensure security of medications and patient information
- Support quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Certified Pharmacy Technician Course / Relevant pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A team player with good initiative and attention to detail
