Chef – Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and required quality standards.
- Ensure food is properly prepared, cooked, and presented.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
- Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and proper storage.
- Assist with stock control and inform management when supplies need replenishing.
- Manage food portions and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Follow recipes, food safety procedures, and workplace regulations.
- Assist in developing new dishes and improving existing menu items.
