Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking a Logistics Officer (Airfreight Operations) to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Logistics Officer (Airfreight Operations)
- Location: Changi Cargo Complex
- Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 9am to 1pm) – Alternate Sat after probation
- Salary Package: Basic + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute daily workflows for both airfreight import and export operations.
- Liaise with airline carriers, overseas agents, transport providers, and customs authorities.
- Prepare essential shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB) and the declaration of import/export permits.
- Monitor real-time cargo movements.
- Facilitate shipment bookings and secure necessary cargo space allocations with carriers.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers and vendors regarding shipment milestones and status updates.
- Ensure all operations comply with Dangerous Goods (DG) safety protocols and airfreight regulations.
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of related experience in airfreight operations.
- Familiar with airfreight documentation and customs procedure.
- Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems.
- Able to work on Saturdays (half day).
