We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms. You will lead DevOps initiatives, drive automation and DevSecOps best practices, while ensuring the reliability, security and performance of mission-critical systems.

- Working Location: Central
- Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) + AWS + VB
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across development, testing and production environments.
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and automated software delivery.
- Manage system deployment, monitoring, backup and operational maintenance.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible and scripting languages.
- Design and maintain containerised platforms using Docker and Kubernetes .
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including security hardening, secrets management and secure deployment pipelines.
- Configure and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and ELK .
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking and deployment issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, product and operations teams to improve release processes and platform reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and produce technical documentation, runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and operational practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven or Nexus .
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux system administration ( Ubuntu/Debian ).
- Knowledge of monitoring and APM tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or CloudWatch .
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy or JavaScript .
- Understanding of networking concepts including load balancing, DNS, routing and TCP/IP .
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
Good to Have
- AWS or other cloud certifications.
- Experience with Vault, Keycloak or identity and secrets management.
- Knowledge of Kafka, microservices and event-driven architectures .
- Experience leading DevOps teams or mentoring engineers.
