Facade Manager

Job Description:

• Manage and supervise all façade-related works and other façade systems.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and technical specifications.
• Plan and monitor façade installation works to meet project schedules and targets.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors and workers to ensure proper installation and workmanship.
• Monitor quality, safety, productivity and progress of façade works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, rectification and defect clearance.
• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and project resources.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain relevant project documentation.
• Ensure all façade works comply with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture, or a related field .
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in façade, building or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, installation methods, materials and construction processes .
• Experience in managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of shop drawings, technical specifications, QA/QC and site coordination .
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to identify and resolve technical and site issues independently.
• Good planning, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and project delivery .
