PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peraton requires an Asset Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located in Singapore, Singapore.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure ensuring the security and integrity of Federal/National Security organization’s information systems, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Providing asset management services and inventory control analysis to maintain consistent accountability of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) assets supporting the SIE. Asset Manager documents and coordinates shipping and receiving of ADPE assets, accountability of inventory, short term storage facilities of computer/communications-related assets, and distribution of hardware, as directed by the Government. The Asset Manager ensures that ADPE hardware and software are properly received in an ITSM approved database, documented in accordance with Personal Property Management (PPM) requirements, stored, and disbursed to the required user to maintain good supply and accountability of ADPE. The Asset Manager provides asset management services including, but not limited to, the following:

Recommending and supporting the development, and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement
Recommending and supporting the development, maintenance, and updating of approved policies and procedures for effective IT asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal
Coordinating shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers. Analyzing inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels, which shall ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs
Reporting on inventory levels to efficiently utilize capital investment while maintaining adequate coverage for known/projected demand
Advising and supporting accountability over assigned products; determine appropriate distribution based on lead times and demand
Ensuring property is uniquely identified and changes are tracked and recorded in accordance with PPM requirements
Inspecting goods and materials and assess the condition of assets for distribution/recycling
Coordinating the disposal of property, supplies, and materiel in compliance with Government and service regulations/guidelines and documentation requirements
Maintaining records of acquisition/distribution of property, supplies, and materials by utilizing applicable processes
Processing excess ADPE as identified by the Government using DoD procedures
Aiding with completing quarterly and annual inventories
Recommending metrics, gathering data, and reporting on the effectiveness of the IT asset management processes
Developing strong working relationships with senior leader end-users across the organization, and assist in communicating their requirements to the J6
Developing and continuously improving a catalog of Standard Operating Procedures covering common tasks, ensuring the workforce maximizes its use
Reallocating resources to address changing needs and surges in effort, to include providing support to project efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

HS + 12 years of experience OR AS with 10 years of experience OR BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience
TS/SCI clearance required
Experience required in an IT and asset management position

Desired Qualifications

Prior experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing is highly recommended
Prior experience supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organization

DETAILS

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
