Salary: Up to $3.6K + completion bonus

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm

Working Location: Just next to Jurong East MRT

Responsibilities:

Check and compile documents for Accounts Settlement and issue payment requests.
Issue accounting notes and prepare Statement of Accounts.
Check sales and purchase contracts.
Ensure completeness of deal entry and match against signed contracts for physical trade.
Perform validation of the trades done against trade incoterms.
Acknowledge incoming payments from clients swiftly.
Handle office enquiries on all incoming money matters.
Liaise with counterparties
Liaise with overseas companies to reconcile the accounts.
Maintain proper filing and accurate documents/records.
Any other tasks, duties or projects as assigned by the direct manager

Requirements

Diploma in Accounting/ Finance, Logistics, Shipping, International Business or equivalent
Min 1 year experience in finance and accounting space of a commodity trading house.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterpart.
Detailed, meticulous and able to work well in a fastpace environment.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tasks under tight schedule.
Strong sense of responsibility with strong analytical and organizational skills.
