Position: Machinery Mechanic (U-Turn)

Location: Singapore

Salary: $20 to $24 per hour + Overtime

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and skilled Machinery Mechanics for immediate employment. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of machinery. This role demands a high level of precision and safety awareness, as well as the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings for effective equipment installation and maintenance.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

Read, understand, and interpret machinery drawings and schematics to install accurately, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
Mark equipment foundation reference based on drawings and plan for installation and alignment post-installation.
Handle hydraulic hoses and jacks safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best ways to correct them, repairing or replacing defective parts as necessary.
Conduct tests and inspections to ensure machinery operates smoothly and meets safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement new equipment and modifications to existing machinery.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations always during the installation, maintenance, and repair processes.

Essential Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years experience in machinery mechanics, preferably in a similar industry.
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and plans.
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and safe handling practices.
