. You will ensure the smooth functioning of power, cooling, and other vital systems, adhering to established protocols and manufacturer recommendations.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and generate detailed reports on equipment performance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the facility.
Ensure all backup equipment is operational and ready to handle critical loads.
Respond to facility emergencies on a 24/7 basis, including onsite support during weekends and holidays.
Track and document power and equipment utilization within the data center.
Manage bi-monthly inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
Oversee data center provisioning, including allocation of resources.
Handle incident reporting and analysis for continuous improvement.
Manage external maintenance contracts with OEMs for optimal equipment upkeep.
Supervise contractor and vendor work on data center facilities.
Coordinate and oversee equipment repair projects performed by external contractors.
Conduct monthly KPI reviews with designated data center agents.
Collaborate with shift engineers on emergency operating procedures (EOPs).
Maintain a defect tracking system for the data center and follow up with resolution.
Obtain quotes and assist in preparing purchase requests for necessary equipment.
Collaborate with vendors on infrastructure expansion projects, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
Review and approve permits, work methods, and risk assessments before project initiation.
Develop and implement operational procedures (MOPs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency operating procedures (EOPs).
Supervise facility contractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Assist with annual high-voltage shutdown maintenance and energy management initiatives.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field.
Proven experience in critical data center operations, including high MW DC environments, MOPs and SOPs, various data center equipment systems, and experience in customer and vendor relations management.
Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) is a plus.
