Job description

The candidate is required to manage the import process for all incoming shipments via Air/ Ocean/ Road

1) Update and monitor closely on all import shipments into ADC Singapore, any delay to ensure they are communicated to the stakeholders
2) Follow up and coordinate with our Forwarders on all import permit declaration, custom clearance and delivery into ADC Singapore
3) Ensure accuracy in all import shipments permits declared by our Forwarders
4) Ensure all permits are declared within 7 days from shipment arrival date
5) Ensure supply availability date is updated timely in Oracle
6) Attend Quarterly Business Review with our Forwarders
7) Verification of Import Freight Bills
8) Prepare monthly Tonnage report
9) Prepare monthly GST report
10) Act as a point of contact for all import matters
11) Attend Prod Meeting
12) Partake in any form of UAT activities
13) Attend Quarter End Traffic calls
14) Any other ad hoc business

The candidate must be open for job rotation and prepared to support the team in other areas such as processing and scheduling of product and spares orders

Knowledge and Skills
Meticulous, eye for detail

Proficient skills of MS application, WMS, Oracle
Independent and effective problem-solving skills
