About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist / Medical Sales Representative to join a growing organisation within the medical device and healthcare sector in Singapore.
This role is suited for a healthcare sales professional who combines strong commercial capabilities with the ability to understand and communicate scientific and technical product information. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with healthcare professionals, promoting medical products, managing key healthcare accounts, and identifying opportunities to grow the business within the Singapore market.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell medical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, specialists, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and key decision-makers.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions for healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions.
- Communicate technical, scientific, and clinical product information clearly and effectively.
- Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to increase product adoption and market share within the assigned territory.
- Manage and develop assigned hospital and healthcare accounts.
- Support and manage hospital product listing processes and related requirements.
- Monitor competitor activities, competing products, market developments, and emerging industry trends.
- Stay current with relevant clinical research, product developments, and medical industry information.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, meetings, sales activities, opportunities, and account developments.
- Prepare sales activity and market reports as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and implement sales and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in product launches, sales meetings, presentations, training sessions, and other relevant business activities.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Sales Professional, Medical Sales Representative, or Product Specialist, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Experience covering hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical specialists, or other relevant healthcare accounts.
- Experience handling or supporting *hospital product listing processes* is highly advantageous.
- Strong scientific or technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical details relating to medical products.
- Demonstrated sales capabilities with a good track record of sales performance.
- Good understanding of the medical device and healthcare industry, including market trends and relevant technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Good analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret market information.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel locally as required.
