Senior / Staff Nurse - Specialty Care (Palliative)

The Opportunity We are looking for Senior / Staff Nurse – Specialty Care (Palliative) to join us for various disciplines to provide high quality patient care. Job Responsibilities The incumbent shall be responsible to:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for palliative patients in conjunction with the Palliative and primary team.
- Provide high quality patient care in various disciplines by performing clinical procedures that will meet the patients' immediate physical and emotional needs
- Provide support and be contactable during office hours and offer assistance to inpatient and outpatient enquiries
- Collaborate with team doctors and allied health staff to provide continuum of care.
- Ensure patient's successful transition from the inpatient setting to the community.
- Function as a clinical resource person to the Nurses and nursing training matters and issues related to the specialty
- Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate
- Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for the Senior Staff Nurse position
- Relevant clinical experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
