Driver cum Operations Crew

Job Scope:

• Collection and transportation of deceased
• Preparation of coffin and encoffining
• Loading and unloading of heavy items / coffins
• Conduct emcee and emcee assistant services
• Performing a variety of tasks during the funeral process, such as providing assistance during funeral rites, closing of casket, guiding the bereaved family etc
• Assist funeral advisors during the funeral process to ensure smooth proceedings
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles, equipment, and premises
• Driving of funeral hearse
• Perform night shift standby duties
• Setting up of funeral wakes according to the religion requested
• Ensure timely delivery of logistic items to wakes
• Clearing, dismantling, and tidying up of funeral wakes
• Maintain storage area and ensure workspace is tidy
• Ensure goods/items are clean for use and fit for dispatch
• Sort and organize inventory in an orderly manner
• Upholding service standard and professional image of company
• Maintaining courteous manner with all customers, vendors, and colleagues
• Any ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Able to do shift work and overtime when needed
• Able to work weekends and public holidays
• Valid Class 3 Driving License is required
• Able to handle physical work and lift heavy items
• Empathetic in dealing with bereaved families
• Team-player
• Experience in this industry is a bonus, but not required

Work Details

• Location: Sin Ming
• Working Hours: 5.5 days | 8.30am - 5.00pm | Saturday 8.30am - 1.00pm
