About the Opportunity
Are you a meticulous operations professional with a passion for both fund administration and investor engagement? SIM is seeking a talented individual to support the day-to-day operations of our Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC) and private-credit sub-fund. This dynamic role blends fund administration oversight, investment operations, and investor relations—offering you the chance to work at the intersection of private credit, compliance, and client service.
You will collaborate closely with SIM management, the investment team, Compliance, and external service providers to ensure accurate fund records, timely processing, and robust controls—while serving as a trusted day-to-day contact for investors.
What You'll Do
Fund Operations & Financial Controls
Coordinate subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and distributions with the fund administrator.
Review NAV reports, reconciliations, fee calculations, and expense allocations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor cash balances, forecast funding needs, and prepare payment instructions for approval.
Private-Credit Investment Administration
Coordinate settlement and documentation for approved investments (underlying funds, commercial paper, direct lending).
Track drawdowns, interest, maturities, and repayments; escalate overdue items to the investment team.
Service Provider Oversight & Reporting
Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, banks, and professional advisers.
Maintain the fund operating calendar and support audits, financial statements, tax, and regulatory filings.
Prepare management updates on AUM, investor flows, cash positions, and distributions.
Investor Relations & Assistant Relationship Management
Serve as day-to-day contact for investors on onboarding, transactions, statements, and distributions.
Support investor and prospect meetings with briefing materials, notes, and follow-up.
Coordinate investor presentations, fund updates, and due-diligence questionnaire responses.
Maintain accurate investor and prospect records in the CRM.
Investor Onboarding & Compliance Support
Guide investors through onboarding; review subscription forms, KYC documents, and tax declarations.
Work with Compliance and the fund administrator on AML/CFT checks and periodic reviews.
Governance
Prepare transactions and reconciliations but do not release payments or sign off NAVs independently.
Communicate factual fund information using approved materials only; refer advice and complaints to authorised personnel.
What We're Looking For
Education: Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; certifications in fund administration, compliance, or AML (e.g., ICA, IBF) advantageous.
Experience: 3–5 years in fund operations, fund administration, fund accounting, investor services, or client servicing in asset/wealth management.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of fund dealing, NAV reports, reconciliations, KYC/AML onboarding; strong Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with fund administrator portals and CRM systems.
Languages: English required; Mandarin advantageous.
Personal Attributes: Meticulous, numerically accurate, service-oriented, high integrity, and sound judgement on escalation.
