Rehab Gym Trainer (Up to $2.8k/5 days rotating/AMK/Fitness)

Our Client is looking for experienced exercise trainer to design and implement fitness programs for individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions.
- Evaluate clients’ current fitness status, capabilities, and any limitations through assessments and consultations.
- Develop and deliver tailored training plans aimed at enhancing strength, cardiovascular health, endurance, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
- Modify exercises and equipment usage to suit individual requirements, including those with physical, sensory, or cognitive needs.
- Partner with healthcare professionals, clients, and caregivers to ensure fitness plans are aligned with rehabilitation or therapeutic goals.
- Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions in a safe, supportive, and motivating setting.
- Instruct clients on correct techniques, posture, and movement patterns to reduce the risk of injury.
- Track client progress and make necessary adjustments to programs to support changing goals.
- Overseethe correct use and upkeep of training equipment.
- Keep up to date with best practices in adaptive fitness to enhance safety and outcomes.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy/Exercise Science or related field
- Certification from a recognised fitness organization (e.g. ACSM, ACE, NASM) will be an added advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays (Position will be on 5 day work week including Saturday, which will be rotated among staffs)
