- Key Duties & Responsibilities
- 1. Strategic Market Expansion & Solutioning
- Architect GTM Strategy : Formulate and execute the regional go-to-market roadmap for contract logistics, 3PL/4PL solutions, and digital freight forwarding. [1]
- Target High-Growth Verticals : Identify and penetrate lucrative industry verticals including pharmaceuticals (cold chain), high-tech electronics, and cross-border e-commerce.
- Optimize Trade Lanes : Analyze macroeconomic data, shipping corridors, and supply chain disruptions to capitalize on new trade lanes and regional hubs.
- 2. Enterprise Partnerships & Commercial Alliances
- Secure Multinational Accounts : Lead complex RFP/RFI bidding processes to win long-term, multi-million dollar logistics contracts with Global 500 companies.
- Engage Statutory Bodies : Collaborate with Singaporean agencies like the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) to leverage trade incentives and infrastructure initiatives. [1]
- Strategic Joint Ventures : Form alliances with last-mile providers, customs brokerages, and tech platforms to expand end-to-end supply chain capabilities.
- 3. Digital Logistics & Brand Positioning
- Promote Tech-Led Logistics : Market our supply chain visibility software, IoT tracking capabilities, and automated warehousing solutions to modern enterprises.
- Direct Brand Strategy : Oversee thought-leadership campaigns, industry conference presence, and PR initiatives that position our company as a top-tier logistics partner.
- Value Proposition Design : Translate technical warehousing, distribution, and freight metrics into clear, value-driven commercial pitches for corporate clients.
- 4. Commercial Leadership & P&L Governance
- Manage Commercial P&L : Oversee the regional market development budget, price-modeling structures, and gross margin targets for new business lines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with Trade Operations, Route Management, and Compliance teams to ensure promised operational capabilities match client SLAs.
