We are looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to join a fast-paced healthcare support team. You will play an important role as a first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting with enquiries, appointment requests, and general service-related support.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys interacting with people, communicates confidently, and can remain calm and professional while managing a busy call environment and multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to a high volume of patient and customer enquiries through phone, email, and live chat.
Assist with appointment scheduling, requests, and general service enquiries.
Provide clear, accurate, and courteous information while creating a positive customer experience.
Identify customer needs by listening carefully and provide suitable assistance or escalate when required.
Coordinate with internal teams to follow up on enquiries and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Handle sensitive, urgent, or challenging conversations with patience and professionalism.
Work across multiple platforms and systems while maintaining accuracy during customer interactions.
Follow established procedures and adapt quickly when workflows, systems, or service requirements change.
Support team initiatives aimed at improving service quality and the overall patient experience.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in customer service, healthcare support, contact centres, or similar environments is advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with good telephone etiquette.
Patient-focused, approachable, and empathetic when dealing with different types of customers.
Able to stay composed and professional in a demanding, high-volume environment.
Comfortable managing several systems or applications while communicating with customers.
Quick to learn new processes, systems, and service procedures.
Comfortable working in a desk-based contact centre environment with approximately 200 calls per day .
Willing to complete a typing assessment as part of the recruitment process.
