We're Hiring – Resident Technical Officer (RTO) (Civil & Structural) - Urgent Night Shift LTA project
MFT Resources & Services is looking for experienced and dedicated Resident Technical Officers (Civil & Structural) to support various infrastructure and building projects across Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise Civil & Structural works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Ensure all construction works comply with BCA, project specifications, and relevant Singapore codes of practice.
- Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and safety requirements.
- Witness site inspections, testing, and material deliveries.
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer (RE), Qualified Person (QP), consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review method statements, inspection requests, and construction activities before commencement.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, inspection records, and site instructions.
- Identify non-conforming works and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project.
Requirements
- Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES (Civil & Structural).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in Singapore.
- Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, BCA requirements, and relevant codes.
- Experience in infrastructure, drainage, roadworks, piling, structural works, or building construction is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of the project supervision team.
