Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist - Slaughterhouse Production

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Quality Assurance Officer to ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in our poultry operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks during processing operations
- Maintain and update HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and quality assurance records
- Prepare QA reports, documentation, and support compliance requirements
- Ensure proper implementation of food safety procedures and SOPs
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation practices within the production area
- Investigate and report quality issues, non-conformance, and corrective actions
- Conduct regular staff training on biosecurity, personal hygiene, and safe poultry handling practices
- Liaise with production teams to improve product quality and operational standards
- Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections
Requirements
- Experience in poultry processing or food manufacturing industry is preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently
- Proficient in documentation and report preparation
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or related field
- Familiar with SFA food safety requirements and audit processes
