BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PROJECT EXECUTIVE

Job Description

NANYANG KUNHAO GROUP PTE LTD is looking for a Business Development & Project Executive to support the growth of our construction, renovation and interior finishing business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities, engaging customers, preparing commercial proposals and quotations, and coordinating projects with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal operational teams.

The role combines business development, commercial coordination and project execution support , with a focus on growing the Company's minor construction and interior decoration & finishing works business in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for minor construction, renovation, alteration and addition, and interior decoration & finishing projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial, industrial, retail and other potential customers.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits to understand project requirements, scope of work, budget and expected timelines.
• Prepare and coordinate quotations, project proposals, presentations and tender-related documentation.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations and potential projects and support commercial negotiations with customers.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify potential projects, customer segments and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on quotations, materials, product specifications, lead times and project requirements.
• Work closely with internal sales, logistics and operational teams to coordinate materials, deliveries and project requirements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, documentation, progress tracking and communication among customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Source and evaluate suitable building materials, tools, equipment and interior finishing products according to project requirements.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers when required on product specifications, sourcing, pricing, availability and delivery arrangements.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and project records and prepare business development and project progress reports for management.
• Support customer relationship management and follow-up activities to develop repeat business and long-term customer relationships.
• Support the Company's continued development of its Minor Construction Works and Interior Decoration & Finishing Works business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management or a related discipline .
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in business development, B2B sales and marketing, account management, product management, project coordination or other related commercial functions.
• Strong customer engagement, business development and stakeholder management skills.
• Good commercial awareness with the ability to understand customer requirements and assist in preparing quotations and business proposals.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, projects and stakeholders concurrently.
• Good analytical skills and ability to conduct market research, customer analysis and business opportunity assessment.
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM systems, digital marketing, data analytics or customer segmentation will be an advantage.
• Experience in construction, renovation, interior finishing, building materials, industrial products, tools or related B2B industries will be an advantage.
• Experience working with suppliers and customers across different markets will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Willing to attend customer meetings and project sites when required.
