Merchant Account Executive - Payment Solutions

About the Role
We are looking for a Payment Merchant Relationship Executive to manage and develop relationships with our merchants.
This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys meeting customers, understanding their business needs and providing suitable payment solutions. Candidates with sales experience and payment/fintech industry knowledge are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing merchants.
- Meet merchants face-to-face and conduct regular business visits.
- Understand merchants’ business needs and recommend suitable payment solutions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling .
- Follow up with merchants throughout the onboarding and activation process .
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Compliance and Technical teams to resolve merchant issues.
- Assist merchants with payment-related matters, including transactions, settlement, refunds and chargebacks.
- Support new merchant acquisition and business development activities.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure a good merchant experience.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management or Relationship Management .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with face-to-face client meetings and business development .
- Sales-oriented and able to build long-term client relationships.
- Payment / fintech / PSP / acquiring experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB and payment processes is an advantage.
- Good understanding of merchants’ business needs and ability to identify opportunities.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
