- Assist in logistics planning activities, including layout design, space utilization, racking setup, and workflow mapping, under the supervision of the Department Manager.
- Analyze logistics operations and propose recommendations to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Promote and implement Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to boost operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual management boards, and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate with IT teams on Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration during new implementations or system upgrades.
- Support the launch of new business operations by facilitating facility setup, manpower allocation, and equipment sourcing.
- Utilize tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL to monitor and report on operational performance.
- Develop warehouse simulation models using MS Visio or AutoCAD for planning and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards within logistics operations.
- Contribute to long-term warehouse development plans that align with business expansion goals.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors throughout the planning and implementation phases.
- Perform on-site feasibility assessments and conduct post-implementation performance evaluations.
- Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) using data-driven dashboards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through team engagement and regular SOP evaluations.
- Assess and recommend automation solutions and digital warehouse technologies to enhance productivity.
