Marketing Campaigns & Promotions Expert (Global Markets) - Contract

We are seeking a highly international and commercially minded Marketing Campaigns & Promotions Expert to lead the planning, execution, localization, and optimization of customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth campaigns across multiple global markets.

This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strong analytical capabilities with deep cross-cultural understanding gained through academic and professional experience across the United States, Greater China, and Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will have a proven track record infintech, payments, banking partnerships, consumer technology, or related high-growth industries.

The individual will work closely with regional business, product, marketing, operations, partnerships, and country teams to deliver high-impact campaigns tailored to diverse customer segments while ensuring alignment with global commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

• Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across multiple markets and product lines.
• Develop campaign strategies, customer journeys, value propositions, messaging frameworks, and channel plans.
• Design and launch customer acquisition, engagement, referral, rewards, loyalty, and retention programmes.
• Create market-specific promotional initiatives adapted to different consumer behaviours and cultural preferences.
• Manage campaign calendars and coordinate execution across regional stakeholders.

International Market Development

• Partner with country teams across Asia-Pacific and other international markets to localize campaigns effectively.
• Apply market knowledge and consumer insights gathered from diverse international environments to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive opportunities across different geographic markets.
• Ensure campaigns remain culturally relevant while maintaining brand consistency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Operations, Partnerships, Compliance, Analytics, and Creative teams.
• Collaborate with banking, payment, liquidity, and strategic partners to support joint marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate campaign launches with regional business stakeholders and external agencies where required.
• Lead campaign briefing sessions and manage stakeholder communications throughout campaign lifecycles.

Performance Marketing & Analytics

• Monitor campaign performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
• Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, customer behaviour analysis, and campaign optimization initiatives.
• Measure ROI, customer acquisition costs, retention rates, conversion rates, and lifetime value metrics.
• Translate campaign data into actionable commercial recommendations for management.

Promotions & Customer Engagement

• Design and manage:
• Referral programmes
• Incentive campaigns
• Rewards programmes
• Seasonal promotions
• Strategic customer engagement initiatives
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and continuously improve programme performance.

Required Qualifications

Education

Mandatory

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Management, or related disciplines.
• Master's degree in: International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy Global Affairs, Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE)

International Exposure

Candidates should possess significant academic or professional experience across multiple regions, including:

• United States
• Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan)
• Southeast Asia, preferably Singapore and/or Malaysia

This international exposure is critical to understanding consumer behavior, cultural nuances, market dynamics, and campaign localization requirements from the outset.

• CRM Channels
• Proven experience developing rewards, incentives, referral, loyalty, or promotional programmes.
• Strong budget ownership and ROI accountability.

Analytical & Commercial Skills

• Strong analytical capability with experience evaluating campaign performance and customer data.
• Experience utilizing market intelligence and customer insights to improve campaign outcomes.
• Ability to balance commercial goals with customer engagement objectives.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to bridge commercial, operational, and partnership functions to drive measurable business outcomes.

Language Requirements

• Native or professional proficiency in English.

Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred.
