Job Description
- Participate in the purchasing process such as sourcing, negotiation and monitoring delivery schedule.
- Establish good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- To ensure that all purchasing documentation is completed and information is updated.
- Provides purchasing reports to the management.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery capability.
- Request and compare quotations from suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Other adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Work well under pressure and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work at site office.
- Work time profile: 6 days.
- Work location: Tuas Area.
