ALG is currently hiring a Process Improvement Engineer for a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation in Singapore. This is a 1-year renewable contract role, that will focus on continuous process improvement, Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence .
Job Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving .
- Conduct VSM, process mapping, RCA, FMEA, 5S and DMAIC activities to improve productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks and waste, and implement sustainable improvements.
- Lead and support Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects .
- Track project progress, KPIs and improvement benefits using relevant dashboards and reporting tools.
- Develop digital solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, Ignition or equivalent platforms .
- Support and coach teams in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline .
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM and structured problem-solving .
- Experience managing or supporting cross-functional improvement projects .
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools , such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- OEM manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred; Black Belt, PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
