Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant's menu, recipes, and quality standards.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size.
- Handle food preparation, cooking, plating, and kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Assist with stock checking, inventory control, and ingredient preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow company SOPs and food safety requirements.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with menu preparation and new dish development when required.
- Minimize food wastage and control ingredient usage.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef-in-Charge or Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen or culinary experience .
- Experience in Chinese cuisine, Asian cuisine, or relevant F&B operations is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Candidates with Singapore F&B experience will have an advantage.
