About the Role:
In July 2024, Delivery Hero SE merged three of its market-leading food delivery businesses, foodora and Yemeksepeti in Europe, and foodpanda in Asia into one Pandora organization, to better unlock synergies and accelerate growth.
A new unified Pandora Data & Analytics team is a part of this transformation, with the mandate to elevate talent density, standardize methods and tools and elevate the decision-making culture in our business.
As the Director, Commercial & Markets Analytics, you will lead a high-impact analytics organization supporting both our Commercial function & local Markets. This dual-hat role blends operational excellence with strategic partnership, requiring a leader who can drive measurable business outcomes, scale data capabilities, and elevate analytics maturity across diverse stakeholders.
You will oversee a large team of analysts and analytics managers and be a strategic partner to our Commercial & Markets leadership stakeholders driving the use of data to improve efficiency, unlock growth, and shape decision-making at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a cohesive team of top-performing data analysts. Create a culture that emphasizes continuous learning, effective communications and the delivery of consistently high quality work products.
Stakeholder Partnerships: Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Commercial and other key stakeholders, by demonstrating a holistic understanding of the business and strategic priorities.
Operational Optimization: Shape and drive initiatives that improve operational performance deploying technical innovations (modeling, forecasting, automation etc.) to business problems.
Prioritization: Prioritize initiatives on the basis of transparent principles for potential impact on business outcomes. Ensure the team is focused on the highest-value work.
Data Quality and Consistency: Enable the team to find an optimal balance between speed and consistency with our broader ethos of avoiding multiple sources of truth and duplication of work products.
Rigor: Review and elevate the work products of the team - advanced data models, storyboarded decks, dashboards.
Qualifications:
Around 12+ years of experience in tech, consulting, retail or similar industry, with at least 5+ years leading analytics teams. Experience in Operations, Logistics, or CPG is a plus.
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science).
Excelled influencing skills, with experience presenting storyboarded insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.
Experience with machine learning, forecasting, and optimization models is a strong plus.
Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
