Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly expense closing, reporting, and management reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Perform expense variance analysis and partner with stakeholders to understand key drivers and trends.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentation materials.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense allocation activities.
- Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with Finance, Financial Reporting, and Actuarial teams to ensure consistent reporting and planning.
- Review and provide guidance on work completed by junior team members.
- Maintain reporting documentation, templates, and data methodologies.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in management reporting, financial reporting, FP&A, or a related finance function.
- Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, expense analysis, and management reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle EPM, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
