Job Summary
The Legal Associate will manage court case conferences and hearings, prepare legal documents, conduct legal research, analyze legal issues, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Attend court for case conferences and hearings to represent client interests and support litigation processes
- Prepare and draft legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed legal advice
- Analyze complex legal issues to identify risks and recommend appropriate solutions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues to facilitate case progress and collaboration
- Organize and manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work
- Apply strong analytical skills to interpret legal information and support decision-making
Required competencies and certifications
- Admission to the Singapore Bar
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in legal document preparation
- Experience in civil litigation, commercial, and corporate law
- Proficiency in legal principles and issues
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
