Job Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute the Singapore sales strategy aligned with corporate and regional growth objectives.
• Drive revenue, gross profit, and market share growth across all logistics and supply chain service offerings.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging industries, and strategic market segments.
• Lead strategic account penetration.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
Sales Leadership & Performance Management
• Lead, coach, and develop the Singapore sales team to achieve business objectives.
• Establish clear KPIs and performance expectations.
• Monitor pipeline development, sales conversion rates, and overall sales effectiveness.
• Foster a high-performance and customer-centric sales culture.
• Lead negotiations for major contracts and long-term commercial agreements.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Develop industry-specific growth strategies and value propositions.
Financial & Business Governance
• Own Singapore sales budget, forecast, and profitability performance.
• Ensure all commercial activities align with corporate governance and risk management requirements.
• Drive margin improvement and commercial discipline across the organisation.
• Provide regular sales performance reporting and business insights to senior management.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12-15 years of proven sales and business development experience within freight forwarding & logistics industry.
• At least 5-8 years of leadership experience managing sales teams, commercial organisations, or country-level business development functions.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth, gross profit improvement, and market share expansion.
• Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics and Integrated Supply Chain Solutions.
• Extensive network within Singapore logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, and supply chain communities.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to drive profitable growth and manage sales pipelines effectively.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop growth plans, and lead high-performing sales teams.
