Responsibility
Technical Sales Support – Provide pre‑sales and after‑sales technical support, prepare presentations and proposals, and collaborate with engineering teams to design client‑focused solutions.
Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the marine and shipping sectors, conduct regular visits, and act as the primary contact for technical and commercial queries.
Sales Process Contribution – Identify and secure new business opportunities, participate in tender preparation and contract negotiations, and maintain accurate sales records and forecasts.
Market Insights & Feedback – Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, gather customer feedback, and recommend service improvements to management.
Project Coordination – Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to operations teams, support service execution, and participate in post‑project reviews for continuous improvement.
Ad‑hoc Duties – Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Sales Manager or General Manager to support overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales/technical support experience in in marine turbocharger MRO or related marine engineering services
- Strong technical knowledge of marine propulsion systems, especially turbochargers from major OEMs (ABB, MAN, MET, etc.) is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills for well communications.
- Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
