Job Title: Pizza Chef
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates who are willing to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings and other ingredients.
Assemble and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards.
Prepare other kitchen items as required.
Ensure proper portioning and presentation of food.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
Store ingredients correctly and monitor stock levels.
Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Assist with receiving and organising kitchen supplies.
Support the kitchen team with daily opening and closing duties.
Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Head Chef.
Requirements
No prior pizza-making experience required; training will be provided.
Basic kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage.
Willing to learn and able to follow recipes and instructions.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to stand for extended periods and handle physical kitchen duties.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is preferred.
