Job Description

- Position Title: Service Technician
- Working Location: Central
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 830am-530pm
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,500 + Allowance + Performance Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of pumps and related systems.
- Carry out hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, and minor repair works at customer sites.
- Overhaul oil-lubricated vane pumps, dry vane pumps, claw pumps, and screw pumps in the workshop.
- Provide technical support and user training on pump operation and maintenance.
- Diagnose equipment failures and prepare detailed failure analysis reports.
- Create, update, and maintain service records in the company database.
- Use the company’s intranet system to retrieve technical information relating to pumps and systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Service Team to support workshop and on-site service activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

- Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of experience servicing pumps, industrial equipment, or mechanical systems is preferred.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify mechanical faults and recommend suitable solutions.
- Experience in pump installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, or overhaul is an advantage.
- Able to prepare technical and service reports accurately.
- Self-driven, hardworking, and willing to learn.
