Angular Consultant
Apar Technologies Pte Ltd
We are seeking an experienced Angular Consultant to support a web application modernization project involving migration from AngularJS (1.x) to modern Angular frameworks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable frontend applications while collaborating with backend and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular 12 and above.
- Participate in the migration of legacy applications from AngularJS (1.x) to modern Angular frameworks.
- Refactor and modernize existing codebases to improve maintainability and performance.
- Develop reusable UI components and implement frontend best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs developed using Java and Spring Boot.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with backend developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and application quality.
- Work within Agile development methodologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 12 or above.
- Experience developing applications using TypeScript.
- Good understanding of Angular architecture, components, modules, routing, and state management.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
- Experience working with Java/Spring Boot backend services.
- Experience migrating applications from AngularJS (1.x) to modern Angular frameworks.
- Experience with code refactoring and application modernization.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working on enterprise-scale application modernization projects.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques.
