Job Description

In your new role as Premium Host, you will provide exceptional customer service with an emphasis on delivering personalised premium service to Qantas First Class, Chairman's Lounge, Platinum, Gold Frequent Flyer Members and Major Corporate Accounts ensuring an effortless and superior travel experience through the airport environment for Qantas First and Premium passengers.

You will demonstrate a positive and analytical approach to problem solving and ability to produce results within tight timeframes.

You'll have -

  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the aviation or tourism industry.
  • At least a diploma in a relevant business or tourism discipline is preferred.
  • Familiar with arrival and departure procedures and formalities.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program, other recognition and loyalty programs such as Chairman's Lounge, Qantas Club benefits and entitlements.
  • Understanding of the Aviation Legislation requirements as they pertain to Qantas and the ability to ensure implementation of the robust corporate processes and procedures to ensure Airport compliance.
  • Willing to be trained in all aspects of operational, safety, security, dangerous goods and emergency policies and procedures as outlined in various operational manuals.
  • Ability to assist customers with their baggage (within established OH&S guidelines).
  • Strong exposure to administrative responsibilities such as invoicing and reviewing customer databases, with the ability to work confidently across all Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A service professional with a demonstrated depth of experience, understanding and commitment to delivering Qantas service in accordance to the specifications of the Airport Service Guide.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the aviation or tourism industry. At least a diploma in a relevant business or tourism discipline is preferred. Familiar with arrival and departure procedures and formalities. Knowledgeable in all aspects of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program, other recognition and loyalty programs such as Chairman's Lounge, Qantas Club benefits and entitlements. Understanding of the Aviation Legislation requirements as they pertain to Qantas and the ability to ensure implementation of the robust corporate processes and procedures to ensure Airport compliance. Proficient use of the Qantas Check-in system (desirable). Willing to be trained in all aspects of operational, safety, security, dangerous goods and emergency policies and procedures as outlined in various operational manuals. Ability to assist customers with their baggage (within established OH&S guidelines). A service professional with a demonstrated depth of experience, understanding and commitment to delivering Qantas service in accordance to the specifications of the Airport Service Guide. Endeavour to constantly deliver the Qantas product with a gracious, proactive and resourceful approach to recovery service failures. Demonstrate leadership and negotiating skills in a customer service team environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities at once. Highly developed interpersonal & relationship management skills with attention to detail and a positive approach to all aspects of the role. An ability to relate and communicate to all people equally - respectful of diversity and cultural differences Consistently well groomed, with the ability to wear the Qantas uniform with pride and in accordance with company standards. Must be committed to the continuing process of terminal integration through familiarisation, learning and 7 days shift roster rotation (and overtime as required). Positive and Analytical approach to problem solving and capacity to produce results within a given timeframe. Exposure to administrative responsibilities such as invoicing and reviewing customer databases, with the ability to work confidently across all Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
