Job Summary
Lead and manage all store operations to enhance customer satisfaction, achieve sales and profitability targets, and develop a high-performing retail team through effective training and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase customer base, boost store traffic, and maximize profitability
- Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff to consistently meet sales targets
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage store administration and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards to attract customers
- Oversee pricing strategies and control stock levels to optimize inventory management
- Create and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency
- Analyze and report on buying trends, customer needs, and store profitability to inform business decisions
- Supervise and train store staff to uphold customer service standards and operational excellence
- Conduct performance appraisals to identify training needs and support employee career development
- Resolve staff and customer issues, including complaints and grievances, promptly and effectively
- Lead the hiring process by interviewing and selecting new employees aligned with store needs
- Provide comprehensive training to new hires on store operations, product knowledge, and service standards
- Deliver ongoing coaching and guidance to employees to enhance performance and professional growth
- Address employee concerns to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations and business goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a retail Store Manager
- Strong leadership skills with a clear business orientation
- Proficient customer management skills to enhance customer experience
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage store operations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and engage staff
