Event Executive / Senior Event Executive

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

(A&P, DESIGN & EVENT)

We're looking for a full-time account executive to complement the team. You'll get to work on a variety of projects, notably events, some integrated campaigns, and the occasional print collateral.

Attributes you should possess:

. Resourceful - We're a small team that punches above our collective weight. How do we do that By looking for ways beyond our abilities to solve our clients' problems

. Detailed - Misplacing a decimal point can mean a double-digit loss. Or not. But we don't do risky business. So, crunch the numbers, but with the utmost care

. Critical - Google may be our best friend and ChatGPT our newest obsession, but mindless research rears its ugly head when clients call us out for presenting the wrong information. That's why critical thinking is, well, critical

. Articulate - You'll be meeting clients, current and new, to take briefs and even present our proposals. So, knowing your material and getting your points across are both equally important

. Versatile - Our clients span the familiar to the esoteric. You must be willing to make the effort to understand and distil client briefs to our creative team

. Agile - The only constant is change. And. Boy. Is. It. Relentless. You must be able to manage client expectations and juggle multiple production deadlines, sometimes with a short turnaround

. Informed - You don't always need to keep your finger on the pulse, but knowing macro trends can be a lifesaver for clients who come to us in a daze

Yes, the list above is in order of importance. Perfection doesn't exist, so we don't expect you to possess every single attribute. Go through the list again to maximise your strengths and shore up your weaknesses during the interview.

Undeterred Good. You'll work closely with our team of creatives but report to the Account Director. Don't worry, we don't bite. At least not more than we can chew.

Qualifications are overrated if you don't put them to work, so experience will be the determinative factor for this position and salary negotiations.

You should ideally have one to three years of agency or in-house experience, and extensive industry contacts to expand our network of partners, which ranges from video production houses to talent agencies and printers.
