Accountant (Financial)

Key Job Purpose :

1. Cover reporting goveranace, FinancialAccounting, FP&A and Regional project.
2. Ensure month end processes are correct andreporting are processed in a timely manner.
3. AssistRegional Financial Controller in financial controlling matters coveringfinancial and management accounting.
4. SupportRegional Financial Controller in managing IFRS compliance in AP Region.
5. Supportthe implementation of regional finance projects.

Summary of Functional Duties & Responsibilities :

Regional Reporting & Governance

a. Reporting governance for AP region – Checking check package/FRP/ENP reporting

b. Attend queries from SCORP for quarterly package

Financial Accounting

a. Process and Review RAR for adjustment.

b. Follow up correction of contract/billing in RAR contract for SAP

c. Supporting RAR function to affiliates.

d. Compile and report to SCORP for Royalty reporting and review royalty invoice for SSC posting

e. Develop Accounting Policy and SOP as required.

Financial Planning & Analysis

a. Monthly review of financial statement for 4 countries

b. Review accrual provison, prepayment and accrued income

c. Collate region Stock disposal/provision for stock, to analysis and provide comments for SCM/Mgt review.

d. Review sales flash submission and provide variance analysis

e. Guided by Senior on Profitability analysis

Regional Project

a. Data Validation on check package - Parallel run Regional Project

b. Discuss with BPO/BPE for CR changes required if needed

Adhoc Task

a. Backup credit controller for credit release .

b. Assist with UAT for changes required in S4 Hana

c. Continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Job Requirements :

• University degree in accountancy or certified accountant from ICPAS or other globally recognized accounting body such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia
• 1 to 3 years as management accountant.
• MS Office and SAP ERP, good communication skills, supervisory skills, project management skills, IFRS, financial performance management.
• Open-minded, team-player,
• Travel Requirement: 2 to 3 times a year
