Get to Know the Role
As a Logistics Admin, you will manage import-export shipping administration by coordinating shipments with forwarders, vendors, production teams, and planners, while preparing inbound and outbound documentation, ensuring accurate physical and document matching, and maintaining compliance, completeness, and timely processing across all logistics operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare export documentation and support order processing
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics activities
- Generate labels, invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents
- Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth shipments and timely collection
- Arrange freight bookings and handle permit checks
- Liaise with forwarders / suppliers and update parties on shipment issues
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and Singapore Customs requirements
- Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting
Skills and Competencies Profile
Required Qualifications:
- NITEC / Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics field, fresh graduates may apply, OR
- 1 year of relevant working experience in the import-export / logistics / shipping field
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Knowledge of IATA standards, Incoterms, Strategic Goods and Dangerous Goods handling
- Ability to interpret documents such as HAWBs, MAWBs, invoices, and permits
Soft Skills:
- Able to work independently with initiative and strong accountability
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and familiarity with quality inspection procedures
Additional Information
- Flexible and willing to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays when required (e.g., for urgent shipments)
