Responsibilities
• Support daily trade operations for physical and derivatives transactions within the Base Metals business.
• Assist with position reconciliation, trade entries, and resolving discrepancies with internal teams and counterparties.
• Support procurement and sales contract execution, including declarations and delivery coordination.
• Prepare and maintain contract documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of trade recaps and operational data.
• Maintain accurate system records and support data reconciliation activities.
• Assist with onboarding documentation and credit line application processes for counterparties and warehouse partners.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth operational execution and issue resolution.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trade operations, preferably within metals, commodities, or trading industries.
• Basic understanding of commodity trading, hedging, and LME futures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP, CTRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in English. Chinese language proficiency is advantageous to support business communications with regional stakeholders.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
